Cat & Dog Imaging in Marinette

Whether your pet is sick, injured or just needs routine or pre-surgical testing, the first step in making a diagnosis involves a physical exam. There are several ways we can proceed to find the answers we’re looking to find. Our veterinarian in Marinette is well-equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostics equipment and knowledgeable staff to carry out all necessary procedures to make the quickest, most accurate diagnosis possible. Cat and dog imaging and diagnostics also help us detect underlying problems that would otherwise go unnoticed and possibly escalate into more serious issues.

In-House Laboratory Testing

With our in-house laboratory testing equipment, we can run tests of the blood, serum and urine to help us detect signs of infection, disease and parasite infestation. We recommend blood and fecal tests once a year for healthy adult pets, and bi-annual diagnostic testing for senior pets.

Cat & Dog X-Ray

Our advanced X-ray capabilities allow us to produce clear and detailed images of your pet’s bones to look for fractures, spurs, signs of arthritis, foreign bodies and lung problems. Digital X-ray creates images more quickly and clearly than film X-ray, and these images can be shared via email with outside specialists. While we prefer to perform this procedure without sedation, we may recommend it for our more nervous patients to allow for better positioning.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound produces images of your pet’s organs and other internal structures in real-time, using sound wave echoes to create these images. As with X-ray, ultrasound is completely non-invasive and painless. With ultrasound we can detect pregnancies, tumors and abnormalities in the shape, texture and structure of internal organs.

Electrocardiography

We can study the electrical activity of your pet’s heart with our electrocardiography (ECG) equipment, which measures rhythm and electrical impulses. If your pet has a history of heart problems, they could benefit from routine ECG exams.

A Better Diagnosis, a Better Treatment
